Banjo Jamboree 2017

Second edition of the free musical meeting ‘Banjo Jamboree’, taking place in Essen, Belgium on September 23rd and 24th 2017.

Banjo or not, you’re cordially invited to come and join/enjoy spontaneous jam sessions at the ‘Caernhoeve’.
Whether you’re staying for a couple of hours or the full weekend, you can join in with ANY acoustic instrument. Sing or play along if you feel like it. Or just listen. There are no obligations, except for a good humour 😉

A music market is part of the event again, so if you want sell or trade something: we’ll provide a guarded booth, so there is no need for you to attend it continuously…….Particularly welcome are independently produced CD’s!

Camping at the farm’s land or sleeping in one of the 100 bunks in the dormitory is possible from Friday evening. There is no obligation to make a reservation, but it helps us if you do.

€15 per person per night, including breakfast on Sunday (no breakfast provided on Saturday)

Children younger than 14 years: €10 per person per night

Bring your own food for the barbeque on Saturday evening. The fires will be burning from 5pm.
Snacks during the day will be available. Registering for Sunday breakfast separately is possible too. And of course there is a bar! All at small prices.
