| DESCRIPTION | Award winning multi-instrumentalist Johnny Butten will be touring Europe 2012 with his fabulous new band Telegraph Road. Drawing on many influences and styles, from Flatt and Scruggs and Bill Monroe to David Grisman, Newgrass Revival, their music has a certain hint of swing and bounce to it. A very exciting band to watch and listen to, they can make your adrenalin flow with hot breakdowns and musicianship or ease the evening away with a beautifully performed ballad. Johnny was steeped in bluegrass from the age of 9 spending hours every day listening to the old recordings on a cheap record player in England where he grew up. His excellent musical ability and personality have led him to work with greats like Mac Wiseman, Kenny Baker, Josh Graves, Bill Keith, Bob Black, Peter Rowan and many more. With 37 years in the business, Johnny has toured extensively including taking bluegrass to Thailand in 2002. |

| TIMEFRAME | Summer/Fall 2012 |
| DESCRIPTION | Acoustic - bluegrass - jazz: 7 Time IBMA Bass Player of the Year, Missy Raines, has put together a hot new band. In the spirit of musical influences ranging from Sam Bush and David Grisman, to Miles Davis and Bill Monroe, the New Hip bridges the musical worlds of newgrass, jazz, singer/songwriter and any others they take a notion to explore. Start with bluegrass virtuosity, add in a jazz-tinged groove and a song-driven sensibility, then dish it up with a hot band of young players. The band moves easily from fun, funky instrumentals to rich, sop"histicated ballads. Missy Raines is the most decorated bass player in the history of the International Bluegrass Music Association. A former member of the Grammy Nominated Claire Lynch Band, the acclaimed duo, Jim Hurst and Missy Raines, Missy is one of the most popular figures in the bluegrass community and a trailblazer in her field for as long as she’s been playing music. Her rich pedigree in the field reaches from legends such as Mac Wiseman, Kenny Baker, Josh Graves and Eddie and Martha Adcock, to contemporary artists like Peter Rowan, Laurie Lewis, Dudley Connell and Don Rigsby. Missy also toured and recorded with the rootsy, edgy Brother Boys. |
